We are PAMOJA!
Founded in 1965 (Established in 1977), Pamoja Art Society is a community-based organization that strives to stimulate the cultural development of Shreveport and its surrounding communities by presenting arts programs that feature Black American artists, as well as creative and cultural traditions. The goal is to provide a platform to showcase the talents of all fine arts craftsmen while encouraging the production of creative works.
Pamoja successfully accomplishes these objectives through its programming at the Pamoja Cultural Arts Center located at 3806 Linwood Avenue in Shreveport, Louisiana and through in Pamoja’s Executive Headquarters located in Allendale.

LocalPamoja is a great place to see local Artist display their work. They also have a wonderful Black History Timeline. The atmosphere is pure and peaceful and as an added bonus there's a great little restaurant next door that serves only organic food. It's delicious by the way. I love it, you should check it out.
